Prior to his role at C2 Commercial, David spent five years as a top performer at Wells Fargo Commercial and Business Banking Group in southern California. David has a proven track record of successfully originating, underwriting and closing commercial mortgage transactions for all commercial product types for both investors and business owners across the county. David’s extensive background in all facets of commercial lending, sales, leasing and experience in the banking industry set him apart. He understands transactions from a true investment perspective and is known for best in class, solution-driven commercial finance advisory work.
Brian was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He attended high school at Mt. Carmel and college at UCSB, Graduating in 1989 in Biology. (Yes, biology) After a short stint at laboratory at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, he made the transition over to the business world in accepting a position with Northwestern Mutual.
One of Brian's clients was an owner of a large mortgage company and he was impressed with Brian's abilities, and offered Brian a recruiting job at his company. Brian accepted the job and in 1989, Brian entered the industry as a recruiter/business development. Over the years, he helped the company in different aspects, from operations to compliance to event planning to business strategy.
In 2020, he was promoted from General Manager to COO of C2 Financial. His main focus continues to be improvement and innovation, always looking for ways to better the company, in terms of tools, resources, and training for our originators.
Jay was born and raised in the San Diego area. After attending SDSU and graduating in 1984, he worked for Mission Bay Mortgage selling FHA/VA rates at 18.5%. Yes, 18.5%. A few years later, he changed careers after one of his clients recruited him as their National Sales Manager for a manufacturing company, but the mortgage industry came calling again when World Savings needed an AE in the San Diego area.
After stops at Aurora and UBS, he spent a number of years as the Loan Asset Manager for Wells Fargo. In 2015, he joined the C2 family as its Recruiting Manager and brings years of mortgage experience to the table. Jay has a passion for the business and bleeds C2 blue day in, day out working to grow the company with high caliber originators.
Scott has 36 years of experience in Real Estate Brokerage, Mortgage Lending, and Reverse Mortgage. He manages the C2 Reverse Mortgage Division and is one of only 157 Certified Reverse Mortgage Professionals (CRMP) nationwide, the highest designation for reverse mortgage professionals.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Business and Marketing with a minor in Industrial Engineering as well as a California Department of Real Estate Broker's License with a National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) endorsement.
Having trained hundreds of real estate mortgage professionals in his career and closed thousands of transactions, Scott has bolstered his long & deep experience with today's state of the art tools and the power of the nation's largest mortgage broker C2 Financial. Financing drives real estate and he is an expert at structuring real estate transactions with mortgage financing that gives his clients the advantage of maximum leverage.
This combination of real estate and mortgage expertise and experience gives the C2 Loan officers as well as clients incredible power to decide whether to sell their home, buy a different home, refinance, or use a Reverse Mortgage to release the equity in their home to enhance their retirement years.

Andrea oversees the review team for C2 Financial Corporation. She has worked with C2 Financial since 2005. Starting in the Accounting department, she has moved her way through the company, working in all areas of Review, encompassing PreQC, PostQC and Funded Files.
Her team works hard on providing great customer service while keeping in compliance as top priority.
Sara Turley is the State & Licensing Compliance Manager for C2 Financial Corporation.
Sara started in mortgage licensing in 2004 and has 16+ years of licensing experience. She has been in compliance with C2 Financial Corporation since its founding in 2009. Sara handles all company, branch and individual licensing and is considered the resident NMLS expert. She also oversees all state and NMLS reporting requirements. Sara holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Theology from Liberty University. Her team ensures C2 Financial Corporation and all of its loan officers stay compliant with both state and federal requirements and regulations.
In her free time, Sara trains and competes at Ninja Warrior events, sings and spends time with her family.
Destiny has been the Accounting Manager for C2 Financial Corp since 2018. She supervises the accounting team, and oversees the company’s bookkeeping and payroll processing.
A San Diego native, she got her bachelor’s degree in English Language Literature from UC Santa Cruz in 2007 and then went on to get a professional certificate in Accounting from UC San Diego Extension in 2018.
In her free time, you can find her hunting for antiques or camping in the great outdoors.
Renee is the Real Estate Manager for Cal State Realty Services, the real estate division of C2 Financial. She is a licensed Broker and has 12 years of experience in real estate. Renee has worked for C2 Financial for the last 14 years.
Renee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She began her career at C2 Financial right after she graduated from college in the accounting department. Shortly thereafter she transferred to the real estate department as a Transaction Coordinator. Over the next 12 years she worked her way up, got her broker's license and now manages the real estate department.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters.

Naomi Cowne is our C2 Corporate Office Manager and a Transaction Coordinator for the Cal State Realty Services division of C2 Financial.
As a graduate from San Diego State University in Public Administration, she took an entry-level job with C2 and has worked her way through various departments, learning the business and gaining her DRE License along the way. Naomi understands the value hard work, customer service and loyalty and hopes to continue to grow along with C2 Financial.
In her spare time, you can find her traveling with family or catching the latest concert or dance theater event.
Jennifer began with C2 mid 2020 as the Human Resources Manager. She works diligently to fulfill all HR needs of the company and enjoys being a soundboard for any employee in need.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certificate. Her education paired with her wide variety of previous experience has prepared her to be a dynamic yet empathetic HR Manager. She enjoys supporting our team and seeing them succeed, while helping the company succeed at the same time.
In her spare time, you can find her enjoying time at the beach with her Husband and Corgi, practicing yoga, going to concerts, and traveling.
Mickie joined the Team in 2001 as an originator. However, based on her prior years' experience as an owner of her own mortgage firm and owner of a four-state master franchise for ERA real estate, she was given opportunity in 2003 to be a regional manager/recruiter. “It is with personal and professional pleasure I have the daily opportunity to share the economic and service benefits available to Loan Officers, who do not want to be micromanaged, but who do want great service, lender resources, processing and commission splits.
